Really bugging me now.

Anybody know why the Blog Archive Index won't work? It hasn't updated itself since January 2007, and I've just had to manually edit the file to list the new archive pages.
I've fiddled with setting and searched the help/FAQ to no avail. Damn Bloggeryness! Grr.
Any help appreciated.
