UK TV presenter Richard Whiteley has died aged 61. :(
He presented a show called "Countdown" which was originally the first show ever to appear on Channel 4, and is the only one of the original programmes still running. He presented the show for it's entire run and was well known for his terrible jackets, 1,000s of ties, and wigs with slightly different hair lengths.
I don't think they'll ever be able to find a perfect replacement.

fuck i'm tired... had to take Nat & Jen to school this morning so they didn't miss exams or somehting. then went thru work for breakfast... Mmmm.
about 11am I started on the forum upgrade. after the trouble the other day trying to DL the forum backup I knew it wasn't going to go smoothly... So here i am 14 hrs later having just finisghed. grah i'm so tired my vision is blurry. whooo go me.
i think just about everything that could go wrong did, and now i have people msging me saying, "oh this is wrong" "fix this" "fix that". oh what joy.
this is just how i envisioned spending a day off work... slaving away on GB yet again... nothing ever goes right at that place, i swear it has some evil curse of doom or something.
well i must go sleep... or die... or something. whatever.

I got an email from someone wanting to buy galacticbasic.net from me for US$200. Oh, how I laughed.
They only want the domain, so want to give me around £100 for me to move all my content to another domain name. I think... NO!
It's worth a lot more than $200 to me, plus it has great positioning in Google at the moment. They'd have to add a zero before I even thought about selling. And I prolly still wouldn't.

just got back from work
i am teh pissed off.... GRRRRR
was supposed to be off at 7, but didn't get out til 7.20
in teh kitchen on my own, cos everyone else pissed off at 7. everyone else was on the front and refused to come in the kitchen no matter how many times i asked. in the end i just said i was going and walked out, leaving them waiting on waiting on macs, cheeseburgers, filet and nuggets. i hope they are busy now... getting battered. bwaha.
couldn't stay anyways, cos dad was phoneing from teh Los Angeles where he is on a business trip from Brintons. Did you know it was hotter her in England yesterday than it was in California. oh yes, how awesome.
we got somethoing of a heatwave goign on at the moment, lol bit of rain outside but it's still like 75-80 degrees out. :|

I lost it a bit at work. kinda shouted at Dave and called him a fucking stupid twat. how proffessional of me. I better apologise tomorrow. lol.
Hmm, anyways, dad has gone on a two week business trip to Los Angeles. Why don't I ever get trips abroad from my work? lol, i wish... :P

Well, it was a close but not really all that doomish.
we were looking a bit short for the close, but everyone stopped over to help so it wasn't that bad in the end. I spent most of the night sorting out the money because Sarah wanted no more than £500 cashed up at a time... That was a crazy idea... That didn't really work too well, because the numbers just didn't want to play the game, and calculator was beign screwy. So Charlie had to come fix my maths because I was doing an incredible job of messing it up. It'll prolly be all wrong when Securicor coem to collect it. And then i'll prolly be beaten to death by angry people who have to fix my mistakes. :(
got out about 1.30am, but didn't get to sleep til like 4am or something which was nice, seeing as I was on a 12-7 today
Crazy Dream: NJO on Earth

Yeah I had this crazy dream last night about the NJO...
I was at home and the Yuuzhan Vong were attacking. yeah, they were attacking my house... o_O
But anyways, I happened to have my lightsaber handy, and ran to different rooms in my house killing teh Vong warriors to stop them getting in. Then some warriors broke my bedroom window and got in, so I killed them, then ran over to the bathroom where some elite Vong had got in, possibly beause they needed a shower or something... Hmm...
But anyways, they had stopped coming through so I went to check on everyone, and found a medic tending to the injured Vong. I let him stay, then the commander jumped in shouting something crazy that I couldn't understand.
All in all: One hell of a weird dream!
Although it did give me the idea to make the next Psychopathic Jedi story a New Jedi Order on Earth kind of thing... But that might be silly so I'll prolly stick with the idea I already got.

I think i might use my day off tomorrow to go on a photo-taking-spree with my camera.
Needs a proper workout, lol. If the weather is nice I might drive down to Whitley COurt or something... Or maybe just go down by the river.

Heh, they were shortstaffed last night so they phoned while I was out. My mum said I'd call them back when I got on, but I know they would only ask me to work, and I didn't particularly feel like it. Seeing as I stopped over half an hour yesterday and got no thanks... as usual. I'm tired of doing favours for them, I really am.
Oh, and I got some stuff about being more assertive. Heh, it might help me if it workses!
I think I'll finally get to work on that Paradigm Collective thing I was gonna do...
