Lol, Allan left some of his food in our fridge, as he is a vegan I guess he'll be wanting it back :P
Better drop it round tomorrows, and prolly get lost in the process. XD

Lent him Howl's Moving Castle and returned Spirited Away.

"Crew Beard"
# 27 April 2006 23:32

Apparently I have picked up a new nickname, lol. It was supposed to be my day off today but I got called up at about 5.30pm by Ad, asking if I could go into work to help Shelley out cos she was shortstaffed for her close. So, even though all my uniform was in the wash I agreed, and had to wear a crew shirt for the night. It was only a 7-11pm thingy anyways, just so that Shel could get some of the manager's close done before 11 when we shut.
Michelle named me "Crew Beard", and Poodle could not help but display a look of complete amazement at the sight of me in a crew shirt. Yeah, so I realised that none of the crew on that night were there before I was a manager, so it was just me and Shelley that have been around that long... crazy!
But yeah, hopefully that was the one and only time anyone will see me a crew shirt :P

So... Somehow Deeley managed to convince me (surprisingly easily too) to go on a parachute jump with him and his bro. Josh said he will to, lol. Crazy.

I must be mad, lol. But it's for charity so why not. Dad's done it before and he's scared of heights so I'm sure I could do it.

backness!
# 08 April 2006 03:30

Alrighty so I am back from my Shift Management Course in London. Whoo.
So I'm now a Shift Manager at McDonalds. Isn't that exciting? No. Didn't think so... Anyways. It was a pretty good laugh actually.

yeah, so my roommate was from Glasgow, which is kinda handy seeing as my grandparents are from that area too so the accent wasn't a problem at all. Sam's roommate was also from Glasgow and had my mum's family name (O'Donnell) which was quite weird. We could be related as my mum does have a lot of cousins up there who have kids. May have to do a bit of family tree investigating. Hmm...

So the first day of the course started well... What with a power cut at East Finchley meaning that we couldn't get off the train at the right station and when we finally got to Head Office they didn't have any power anyway. :P

I was in the pink team for the course, and we were striving to be the worst :P
Gotta love our skillz of failure... But we all passed the course anyways, lol.

We only had one drink each in the hotel bar (Hilton at Euston), because it was stupidly expensive. 2 drinks for nearly £10. wtf? lol so we found a nice Wetherspoons called the Shakespeare's Head (I think) next to Holborn station. Nice and cheapish. Although the sausage, chips & beans were not as good as at the Penny Black in Kidder! And were more expensive, damn them :P

Haven't laughed so much in ages when Sam decided to get on the packed tube train that i was not possibly going to fit on. And the she went without me. Funniest moment ever, lol, you had to be there really. I caught the next one (I think we were going from Holborn to Kings Cross... But I could be wrong)the trains are only like 2 mins apart so its not really a huge wait, lol. I got to the station and Sam was sat there pissing herself laughing... and then this guy ran onto the train while the doors were closing and got his head stuck in the doors. lmao. geez it was so hilariously funny :P

Sightseeing checklist:
* Trafalgar Square
* Leicester Square
* Buckingham Palace
* Millennium Eye
* Houses of Parliament
* Baker Street
* Drury Lane (didn't see the muffin man though, damnit!)

Lines travelled:
* Bakerloo
* Northern
* Circle
* Picadilly
(think thats about it. Boring anyways...)
prolly some more but I can't remember them right now :P

Yeah, so anyway... blah blah. now I'm back home from London after an amusing and interesting week. And back to doing some proper work. :(
