Alton Towers!

Hey, long time no blog, eh?
What's new then... since... April? Wow. lol
In no particular order:
1. Actually made a move on sorting my room out... have a nice big slidey-door wardrobe now!
2. New awesomeish computer!
3. couple of job applications been done... had an interview for Soho Coffee in Brum, didn't get that... currently waiting to hear from a guy starting a Subway franchise in Stourport (where HJ Beard's was, so hopefully thats a good omen).
4. Last but definitely not least: David!!! Yay! :D
I met David on MySpace (surprise, surprise) back in May, and we started talking and got to know eachother abit and then I randomly decided to drive down to Enfield (London) to meet him, and from then on there was just no going back. Stuck with eachother now, hehe just over four months now. :D
Anyways, the purpose of this blog...
Somehow managed to ask mum to let David stop over... of course, she doesn't know how close we are, lol but yeah... and then we went for a couple drinks Monday night. wasn't really terribly drunk (well, Duane was), and then we came home and watched some Scrubs, yay!
then this morning (Tues/30th) we went to Alton Towers... or at least we should have gone in the morning... but one thing led to another and we went abit later, lol. :P
It was really quiet, and we managed to do everything we wanted within about 4 hours, including a lunch break lol. And David finally showed me his skills on the dance arcade game thingy - the show off :P
then cos the park was open late, we got to ride things in the dark, woo!
Rode Nemesis in the dark on the front row: that was pretty awesome, although the Runaway Mine Train was pretty fun too lol, the guy on the controls kept sending us round, making us sing such hits as YMCA and Row Row Row Your Boat... hehe. Spinball Whizzer was good fun too lol. We didn't go on the Flume, cos last time we got drenched on the first (little tiny) drop, so we figured that we'd be covered by that previous soaking. lol
All in all a really nice day. :D

So righty then, we're what, 3 weeks into 2007 and I haven't really noticed any major life changes yet. pooey.
FINALLY sorting out my room! I have awesome plans for the redecorating of it, and seeing as i have actually spent 3 days tidying and sorting out my crap so far my mum is starting to show some interest in helping me lol, I think she didn't believe I would ever get round to it. Gonna take forever to sort the junk though. Moved my computer 3 feet across to the right earlier and it took 3 bloody hours. The furniture decided to fall apart when i moved it... And then about another hour to figure out where all the cables went.
Mysteriously, my flash card reader has started working again... dunno even why it stopped. oh well, can't complain. Now my comp has the following drives: A C D E G H I J K X. lol well wasn't that interesting? No? Well I don't care. :P
ANYWAYS. the whole coming out thing seems to have settled quickly. no repurcussions or however the hell you spell that word. All seems good, yay. :)
Hair cut tomorrow. might be different for a change... hmm. maybe. Then on weds we are having a new ISP computer installed and it's my close, so apparently I get to close an hour earlier than usual... YAYAYAY!!!
Currently I am mostly feeling abit "meh". Just things and stuff getting on top of me that usually I am good at keeping at bay. Tut. Oh well, I'll survive lol. I've been worse. :P
Bored now. lol

So, here I am... Back again.
This time my harddrive broke, luckily I had a spare, otherwise I would have been waiting a long time, having just spent all my money on that new monitor.
For some reason, when I start the comp, it asks me to choose the OS to use, when there is only WinXP on it. Knowing my luck it is the ghost of the old HDD... The worlds first haunted computer...
Anyway, I am having lots of trouble getting all the drivers re-installed, so if I kill you, then don't take it personally.
I'm beginning to wonder what I have done to deserve all this bad luck...

Yay!
New Monitor came, in all it's nice shiny glory. :)
I was beginning to crack up without being able to use my computer.
Typically, the delivery man had to arrive just as I went into the bathroom, so I had to run out quickly - I luckily hadn't started doing anything :P

I can't even have more than one IE window open at the same time...

Nice busy day at work... Well not nice, but was busy, and was made even nicer by the fact that it was double-pay, due to the Bank Holiday. Hurrah!
I should be tidying the rest of my room, but my computer kept begging me to use it, so I couldn't let it down now, could I?

Almost eleven hours after I started...
/me is exausted.
I've moved my PC and bed around... Behind me is all the junk I have yet to sort out... And I hope I don't need to get to my wardrobe anytime soon.

On a brighter note I found the diary I kept of when I was making GalacticBasic.net and the SWdb. Finally I'll be able to rwrite that article about the birth of GBnet... :D

It's amazing some of the stuff I'm finding...
I found the instruction manual to my Sega Master System II, and a printout of something from my old PC... It had a 15Mb of memory... lol, I think my mobile phone has more than that.
I keep finding old drawings I did when I was a kid... I must have been on seriously deranged kid. Most of them are people being shot, stabbed, or otherwise killed. Hehe.
Mmm... I think dinner is ready at last. g2g

Went into Worcester to take back a t-shirt I bought. The store had ordered it for me, but had sent me extra large instead of medium... Probably because of my sloppy writing...
I was thinking there were a lot of kids about, and later, about 2pm, I realised this was because it is Saturday. Dunno what day I thought it was, but that's no surprise - I rarely take note of the day or date.
So after getting to Worcester, I bought X-Wing: Wraith Squadron, and Tatooine Ghost, I will enjoy reading those, I wonder if I'll have finished them by the time Amazon.co.uk gets round to sending out Force Heretic II: Refugee...
Also I got Combat Flight Simulator 3 for the PC, yay!
Umm... Gotta go get ready... Going to an engagement party tonight.
Personally I think 17 is too young to be getting engaged, but that's none of my business, really... lol.
