...has this year gone? Really now, December already? It's gone super quick.
I AM quite annoyed that Wipeout HD seems to have been pushed back to January 2008. Was supposed to be this November just gone... *pout*
Anyways, just making a few changes to the site, hopefully it looks slightly better, although with the same overall theme as before. Not a drastic redesign by any standard.
Will probably be making a few more changes too sometime -although again nothing overly amazing.
Can't really promise I'll use the blog any more than usual though... Hmm.
Also, I wish midnight would hurry up so I can open the 4th door on my advent calender (which, as predicted by David is the Doctor Who one with the Daleks on the front, lol).
Mmm... Need chocolate...

Went down town earlier cos I was bored.
Got the X-Men 3 DVD and the new Killers album, Sam's Town.
They had it playing over the spekers in Woolworths so I thought I'd buy it. Woolworths need the money cos they suck, and I felt sorry for them. :P
And--this has to be a world first--I went into Game and actually didn't buy anything. *gasp*
I usually end up picking up a couple of games that I'll never play or soemthing, but not today! Aren't I good? :D
And I bought some nice new jeans which are pretty nice, methinks. Went into TK Maxx but couldn't see anything that grabbed my attention. And that's about it.
Yeah, so it's boring really. :P

Meh, feeling abit bleh at the moment.
Was really tired when I woke up this morning, and sorta fell asleep again, when I finally got up at 11:45 I struggled to stay awake til about 12:30 when I had to get ready for work, cos I was on a rather odd 1 til 9 today for some reason.
So, I go to work tired. And with me that's never good cos if I start off badly then it just gets worse. Anywhoo... I'm wondering how I'm going to get up for my 9 til 5 tomorrow if I was too knackered to get up for a 1 til 9, and Ad asks me if I can come in and do an 8 til 4 instead... and I AGREE like an eejit.
So yeah after dealing with tiredness and silly staff that don't like listening and stuff I eventually become moody and bitchy and all that, so it's all been funfun today. lol
And Duane was trying to get me to go to some silly little friggin church group with him. I mean, WHAT THE FUCK!? I went to church every week for the first 18 years of my life, so i think i've had ebnough of it, thank-you. I have no problem with people who go to church, or who love Jesus or whatever, AS LONG AS THEY LEAVE ME OUT OF IT.
It's all very well saying I'll go to hell for not believing in a god, but it's not going to affect me much if I don't believe that hell exists. Well, technically Hell is a town in Norway. Which is quite funny cos Norway is snowy so Hell is forzen over. hehe.
Anyways.
Home now, still tired. Had a headache all day and I think I had the last two paracetamol this morning... But I'll have to go hunting for soem laters.
Ashley is at a wedding reception tonight so I can't talk to him. Tempted to text him, but I don't want to be annoying or anything. :/
Dunno what time he'll be back either, so prolly won't get to talk to him til tomorrow.
At least after tomorrow I have two days off. Not working the bank holiday, surprise surprise. Never get to work bank holidays. *pout* All I want is the double pay. lol
Shall prolly go into town or something. Being tempted to buy a Nintendo DS, even though I know I have no money so I might just leave it a couple of months til I have paid off my credit card again. >.<
By which time I'll prolly have to use it for the PS3 I preordered at Gamestation. Hmm. Dunno how I'm going to afford to go to Los Angeles next year either. Craziness. It's in May, so that's like... 8 months away, and they still haven't announced anything about hotels yet. Or entrance passes actually, either. Maybe I should renew my Hyperspace membership so I can get the cool fanclub extras that I won't bother with like at Celebration III, lol.
Mmm... Eating some Oreos now. Grinnall's in town have started selling boxes of 16 for the grand sum of 99 pennies. So all is good on the biscuity side of things. Although I wonder how they can put "The World's No 1 Buscuit!" on the box... Cos if they were indeed the world's #1 then surely they wouldn't be so goddamn hard to find?
Seriously, Grinnall's is the only shop that sells them in a town of what... 25,000?
Not sure where sells them in Kidder, although I have heard one of the supermarkets does.
Yeah, I'm bored and rambling now, so when that happens it's best if I shut the hell up.

YAY! I beat Kingdom Hearts!
Okay, so I didn't do all the tournaments or all the Trinity spots, but I conveniently saved it so I can go back and get them all :D
Don't be put off by the Disneyishness, Squaresoft has done a great job with the game - go get it now!

Been playing "Kingdom Hearts" again. Damn that game is so good. lol, I never wanted to buy it because it looked too kiddish, and it was Disney, but then I remembered it was Squaresoft too, and it was a Platinum title, so it was cheaper than most other games... But anyway, I'm on the Hollow Bastion level, and just had to fight Maleficent, then her again as a dragon thing (that took ages), and now I have to fight Riku/Ansem. Damn, I got him down to his last couple of HP before he killed me yet again. I needed a rest so I came online. Plus my dad was back from work and wanted the TV.
Now... I have some site sorting to do. Yes, this site! I'm actually doing something to it! lol

This morning it was cold. Damn cold.
Then the bus didn't turn up, so I had to walk to the bus stop outside the high school. Luckily it was too early in the morning for anyone to be at school, because I'd hate to have had to kill someone.
So anyway, to cut a long story short, I was 15 mins late for work. Was no big deal, as I'd phoned to tell them I would be late. Mark however, had missed his alarm or something, and arrived two hours late, so he got a right telling off... hehe.
Later, at about 3.15pm, the lights flickered, then all the power went off. Fun! At first. Because there was no power we had to shut, which is good! But: It also meant, no extractors, no lights, no air conditioning. It was dark (save for the emergency lighting), and the kitchen was filling with the smoke that the extractors had stopped... extracting.
We had to chuck all the food away... Although some of it didn't make it to the bin ;) And we used the time to clean everything down ready for when it came back on. Eventually it did return at 3.55, and I was off at 4.
Also today I completed Jedi Academy, on both Dark and Light endings, and had a little bit of multiplayering.
Then I got to grips with some more PHP, and found out that what I had planned for part of GBnet5 isn't going to work so simple after all. So it's back to the drawing board for that particular bit of behind-the-scenes code.
Now, I got an early again tomorrow, so I best be going to bed. 'night.

I think I got some kind of ear infection or something... It's quite painful and annoying... Grr...
And in other news I am still waiting for Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, even though I had a dispatch email on Monday. If it doesn't arrive today, which is release day for the game, then I'll be pretty annoyed.
Also I am kinda addicted to Kingdom Hearts at the moment. 'tis an RPG-type-thing from Square and Disney. It's better than it sounds :)

My sister had a friend round last night, and they rented Parappa the Rappa 2 from the video store... Damn that games addictive, lol.
Anyways, I finally did it. For years I've been wanting to try a new hairstyle and I actually did it today... I've never had hair so short, and it is still just an average length! And it doesn't poke my eyes out any more! Yay!
I also got my webcam working again, so don't miss this rare opportunity to see your favourite evil Emperor!

Oh yeah... Classic moment here:
I was playing "Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty" earlier, and the enemy saw me, so I ran into a locker room and hid in the locker farthest from the door.
The search team came in and started opening the lockers - I was thinking "Uhoh" by this time, and they got closer and closer...
Eventually they opened my locker's door, and at the exact same moment someone walked through the door, and they turned to see who it was, so I quickly shut the locker door again, before he could see me - and then the all clear signal went, and they walked back to their positions!
It was hilarious at the time, lol.

Well, I finally did that security upgrade for the GBnet forums, but didn't realise how much of my modifications it would overwrite... So needless to say, a lot of it is messed up. As for v4, I am so sick of looking at the damn thing that I don't even want to carry on with it.
I did come up with a good design for v5, but that design needs phpBB 2.2 to be released first, and that's months away yet.
Was trying to fix some of the forum stuff yesterday, but site went down, so instead went on JK2 to see if CorSec and GI were still playing somewhere , I found CorSec and joined in the FFA he was in. Later the game changed to team FFA, and our team had a serious arse-kicking, 'twas more like a massacre than a game. lol
When you lose 20 - 0, you know there's a problem in your strategy...
So, I tried to pull us together to work as a team, but I think it was like putting all the targets in one convenient place so they didn't need to look for us... We still lost miserably...

I've set my self the goal of getting GBnet[v4] finished in the next couple of weeks. It's gonna be hard work, but once the timeline is out of the way it should be pretty easy from there on. That timeline is doing my head in, but I hope that it'll be worth all the effort when it is finally finished.
I rediscovered Metal Gear Solid 2, so I have been playing that a lot recently... I sorta forgot about it for a year, even though I was waiting for the damn game for long enough, lol.
Just got the latest articles for Psycho Weekly 11 sent off to Furday, so it's all in his very furry hands now. Hopefully he'll be quicker than I was...

It's amazing some of the stuff I'm finding...
I found the instruction manual to my Sega Master System II, and a printout of something from my old PC... It had a 15Mb of memory... lol, I think my mobile phone has more than that.
I keep finding old drawings I did when I was a kid... I must have been on seriously deranged kid. Most of them are people being shot, stabbed, or otherwise killed. Hehe.
Mmm... I think dinner is ready at last. g2g

Went into Worcester to take back a t-shirt I bought. The store had ordered it for me, but had sent me extra large instead of medium... Probably because of my sloppy writing...
I was thinking there were a lot of kids about, and later, about 2pm, I realised this was because it is Saturday. Dunno what day I thought it was, but that's no surprise - I rarely take note of the day or date.
So after getting to Worcester, I bought X-Wing: Wraith Squadron, and Tatooine Ghost, I will enjoy reading those, I wonder if I'll have finished them by the time Amazon.co.uk gets round to sending out Force Heretic II: Refugee...
Also I got Combat Flight Simulator 3 for the PC, yay!
Umm... Gotta go get ready... Going to an engagement party tonight.
Personally I think 17 is too young to be getting engaged, but that's none of my business, really... lol.
